Legend Wash Etch Primer

It is a two-pack adhesion cum anti-corrosion primer containing polyvinyl butyral resin & strontium chromate pigment in one pack and dilute solution of phosphoric acid in the other. The components are mixed as per specified ratio before application. Phosphoric acid activates PVB resin into a film forming polymer as well etches the metallic substrate over which it is applied thus enhancing bonding. For that reason, it is also called bonding/etching primer. 2-Pack Wash Primer is a low build primer with 8-10 microns DFT.
